Guide for UAE owners

AI Automation Consultant in Dubai

If you run a business in the UAE and you are trying to work out what AI automation would actually cost, what to fix first and how to tell a serious partner from a slide deck, this page is written for you.

What does an AI automation consultant actually do?

An AI automation consultant works out where your business loses time between systems and people, then builds software that removes those steps. In practice that means mapping how a job travels from enquiry to invoice, pricing the manual work, and connecting your tools so information moves without anyone retyping it.

The useful ones spend most of their time on your operations, not on AI. Choosing the model or the tool is the small part. Knowing which of your fifteen daily annoyances is worth AED 20,000 of engineering, and which one just needs a shared inbox rule, is the part you are paying for.

How much does AI automation cost in Dubai?

Expect AED 7,500 for a one day Time-Back Discovery Day, credited against any build that follows. Simple automations start from AED 5,000. Larger builds joining several systems run from AED 15,000 to AED 40,000. Team training workshops start from AED 550 per seat.

Two cost traps are worth knowing about. First, per-seat software licences: a build can be cheap while the tools underneath it quietly cost AED 2,000 a month, so ask for the running cost separately from the build cost. Second, open-ended day rates. Fixed prices in AED, agreed before work starts, protect you from a project that grows.

What can a UAE SME realistically automate first?

Start where a person is copying information or chasing someone. The first wins are usually follow-ups that nobody has time to send, quotes and invoices built by hand, lead capture from WhatsApp, document and invoice processing, and customer questions answered out of hours.

WhatsApp deserves its own mention here. In the UAE most enquiries arrive there, sit in one person's phone, and never reach a system anyone else can see. Getting those messages captured, answered and logged is often the single highest return change a small business can make, before anything more ambitious.

How long does it take to see results?

A single automation built after a Discovery Day should be live inside 30 days, with the time saving visible in the first fortnight. Bigger programmes that connect email, files, customer history and follow-up take a week on site plus a few weeks of use before the numbers settle.

If a proposal cannot tell you what changes in the first month, that is a warning sign rather than a scheduling detail. Automation that only pays off in year two is usually a rebuild wearing a different name.

What should I look for in a UAE AI partner?

Ask six questions before you sign anything. Do they work on site, or only over video? Do they hand over documentation your team can read? Do they charge for discovery, and is that fee credited against the build? Are they tool agnostic, or reselling one platform? Will they show you a mapped process before quoting? Who does the work, the person in the room or someone offshore?

None of those criteria are unique to us, and that is the point. Any competent firm in Dubai should pass them. A partner who cannot show you a mapped process before naming a price is guessing, and you will pay for the guess.

Do I need to be a large business?

No. Two people up is enough. The moment work passes between people, time leaks in the handover, and that leak is what automation closes. Teams of five often see a bigger proportional gain than teams of a hundred, because the owner is usually the bottleneck.

Where can I see what this looks like in practice?

Our three offers cover the usual routes in: one day to map and price the work, a half day to train your team, or a full week to install an AI operating system across the business. If you want a number before you speak to anyone, the 90-Second Check gives you a rough figure for what manual work is costing you.
